Samsung guilty of cutest netbook ever

This N series Samsung netbook - the N310 - has got to be the best mix of uber-cool and cutesy to have ever been incarnated in netbook form.

The N310's design is the brainchild of award-winning Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, who has used the theme 'without thought' in some of his workshops because he believes that a successful design should respond to our unconscious movements and the environment around us.

Lucky Samsung then, getting him to come up with its latest netbook, because the N310 is very modern and minimalist in a choice of clean eye-pleasing colours, with nature-inspired organic curves and pebble-shaped chassis.

The LED screen is a comfortable 10.1-inches and is frameless and flat with accompanying ergonomically designed keyboard, which has optimised 17.6mm key spacing.

The four-cell battery promises up to five hours battery life, and the 1.3 megapixel digital motion camera makes for good-quality Skype video chatting.

If you're worried about bumping the miniscule netbook while lugging it around, don't fear - it has a robust design that is engineered to withstand the nomadic handbag/luggage/shoulder bag existence of a busy netbook.

The cherry on top is the anti-bacterial keyboard with a special finish that makes it almost impossible for bacteria to live and breed, and don't forget the netbook comes in a choice of grey/black, vermillion, teal and navy-blue.

The N310 retails from €499 and is on sale at Peats Electrical stores nationwide and Elara Online.
