Tiger Woods game supports PS3 Motion Controller
10.03.2010

Not only is Tiger Woods sharing the cover art for his new Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 game that's coming out on 8 June, but he's nowhere to be seen in the preview screenshots but the saving grace is that it is quite high tech and supports both the PS3 and Wii-enhanced motion controllers.
However, it looks as though Electronic Arts has decided to make this Tiger Woods game all about golf with little or no emphasis on the man himself.
In fact the blurb only includes quotes from Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy: "This is a huge honour for me to be on the cover with Tiger Woods as I grew up idolising Tiger.
"The Ryder Cup has always been my favourite sporting event and the tournament is being played at The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales in 2010. Also, I'm hopeful to have an opportunity to represent the European team later in the year - it's all very special."

The game itself looks to be pretty good, especially seeing as it supports not only the Wii MotionPlus but also the new PlayStation 3 Motion Controller for a more authentic swing experience.
And on the Wii 11 there will be two all-new enhanced swing mechanics while using the Wii MotionPlus. The Advanced Plus swing difficulty reads rotation and swing angle while the Tour Pro swing mechanic assesses rotation, swing plane and point of contact.
In the game you will be aiming to bring home the Ryder Cup and you can choose from a US or European squad, and playing offline gives you the option to swap matches, thus giving you the ultimate control over the outcomes of other matches.
The game will be available on 8 June on the Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and iPhone platforms.
