Apple may be banning hackers from App Store

Apple is banning people associated with jailbreaking its products, from the looks of things.

Sherif Hashim, a developer who has hacked the iPhone, has said he could no longer access the App Store after having received a message informing him he was blocked for security reasons.

"'Your Apple ID was banned for security reasons', that's what i get when i try to go to the app store, they must be really angry," Hashim said, via micro-blogging site Twitter.

Hashim, it appears, isn't the only one.

Another iPhone jailbreaker, who goes by the name iH8sn0w, reported via Twitter that he, too, was blackballed from the App Store. iH8sn0w is behind the Sn0wbreeze application that allows users full control over their iPhone.

This move by Apple may be just a warning, as hackers can always create another Apple ID with which to access the App Store.
